Our Focus

Chris is a concerned Woodbury resident and homeowner. She wants a hand in shaping what this community is growing into. She grew up in a family of community activists and has always been involved in community projects. She is AGAINST ICE Detention Facilities in Woodbury and she is AGAINST Hyperscale Data Centers in Woodbury.

Safe Streets

Chris Mog is looking to make Woodbury a safer place. Chris, as a US citizen, believes in law enforcement. She also believes parents should be able to pick up their children from school without carrying passports and birth certificates. She would like Woodbury to support ordinance for ICE Free zones like those adopted by Chicago, San Francisco, Minneapolis and St Paul.

Additionally, Woodbury needs clear ordinances regarding E-bikes and E-motos. One fourth of the Woodbury resident population is under 18 years of age. To protect this population and to keep our streets and sidewalks safe for all, Woodbury as a community needs to consider the best solution for this class of vehicle and vehicle operators.

Better Budget

Woodbury's Property Tax Revenues have gone from just under $41mm in 2022 to over $57mm in 2026. This increase is partly due to the increase in numbers of homes in Woodbury (high growth of residential build), resulting in a larger tax base. But even with this growth in tax base, the property tax rate itself has increased over those 4 years. It is slated to increase further in 2027 again.

Chris's years of financial experience give her a special insight in how to approach Woodbury's growth. She believes there are ways of providing services to Woodbury without always burdening tax payers. She wants to contribute her financial knowledge to the City of Woodbury.

Local Businesses

The proposed Federal budget is slashing the Small Business Administration department by 67% from 2026 budget levels. While big business remain a cornerstone of this community, small businesses are what distinguishes communities from each other.

Chris is committed to fostering the small businesses in the community. When thinking of Woodbury, she wants to evoke a place where people can grab brunch before going strawberry picking or golfing.

She wants young families to have access to family services, like occupational and ABA therapy, without having to drive across the Metro area. Woodbury is large enough to provide support for all these family services and small businesses.
