Meet Chris Mog
Christine Mog has been a resident of Woodbury Minnesota for the last 6 years. She is a working mom, a first-generation immigrant and a small business owner. She has never been prouder of this community than she has in the last few months; watching her neighbors in the subzero Minnesota weather, standing up for all those who did not feel safe protesting.
She grew up in St Paul, graduating from Como Park Senior High before attending Wellesley College for a degree in Economics, and MIT for an MBA. She brings decades of experience understanding the stories behind the numbers.
Her priorities, if elected, are as follow:
Safe Streets
Our children should be able to walk home safely. Parents should feel safe picking up their kindergarteners from school.
The current lack of ordinance regarding E-Bikes and E-Motos is a risk to our teens as well as those around them, whether pedestrian or other vehicle operators.
Data centers are coming near all of us soon. They also bring air, water, noise and heat pollution, when we want to keep our streets safe.
Better Budget
Property Tax Revenues have risen 37% over the last 4 years in Woodbury.
There are ways to get services and infrastructure for Woodbury without always using tax revenues. Other cities have figured out ways to do so, Woodbury should follow suit.
Small Business
Woodbury residents affectionately joke that our community can best be described by the long waiting lines at Cane's and helicopter noises over the city. Woodbury is the 7th largest city in MN and should have more distinction than long lines and helicopters overhead. By developing a vibrant small business community, we can decide what Woodbury should be. We can be an oasis for old and young alike. We can be a sanctuary for young working families.

Our Focus
Committed to building Woodbury while retaining the essence that makes it what it is.
Community Voice
Seeing this community come together during the last few months has shown the entire world what MN stands for. We have many challenges coming up including going against big tech companies pushing for Data Centers. Chris has experience in the energy sector and looks forward to contributing her knowledge so Woodbury can make the most informed decision regarding Data Centers. She would also like the city of Woodbury to stand with many other communities across the US that prohibit immigration enforcement near schools, courthouses and hospitals. Our children already have lockdown drills in school. They do not need to be exposed to armed Immigration officers at school pickup time, especially in communities like Woodbury where the average house price is $450,000.
Forward Progress
Woodbury is one of the fastest growing cities in MN. This is because it is a great community. But to grow without losing its charm and essence is a challenge. Chris wants to represent those who feel they haven't been heard. Chris wants to build bridges instead of closing doors.
