Vote Mog for City Council
Committed to Shaping the Future of Woodbury
Meet Mog Chuyangheu
Mog Chuyangheu has been a resident of Woodbury for the last 6 years. She has never been prouder of this community than she has in the last few months, watching her neighbors in the subzero Minnesota weather, standing up for all those who did not feel safe protesting.
Mog is a working mom. She is a first generation immigrant. She is a naturalized US citizen. She is your Woodbury neighbor. She graduated from Como Park Senior High and went on to study Economics at Wellesley College. She also has an MBA from MIT. She has spent most of her career working in Finance and entrepreneurship. She brings with her, decades of experience understanding the stories behind the numbers.
Her first priority is to represent Woodbury's residents and increase community engagement in the city level decisions that impact Woodbury residents most. There is growing concern around E-bikes and E-motos' safety in Woodbury. This needs to be addressed immediately, before tragic incidents lead to irreparable consequences.
Mog wants to focus on infrastructure that benefits Woodbury. The Water Treatment Plant will make a significant difference to our water quality. Other cities have come up with income generating infrastructure that not only pays for itself but offers jobs to the community while further enhancing and providing services to their own city. Such an example would be the Shoreview Community Center.
She believes small businesses shape and distinguish communities. As Woodbury grows, she wants the small business community to thrive along with this city. Whether it be micro-breweries or pediatrician offices, Woodbury benefits from having small businesses.
She is AGAINST ICE Detention Facilities in Woodbury.
She is AGAINST Data Centers in Woodbury!

Our Focus
Committed to building Woodbury while retaining the essence that makes it what it is.

Community Voice
Seeing this community come together during the last few months has shown the entire world MN Nice is MN Strong! We have many challenges coming up including going against big tech companies pushing for Data Centers. Mog has experience in the energy sector and looks forward to contributing her knowledge so Woodbury can make the most informed decision regarding Data Centers. She would also like the city of Woodbury to stand with many other communities across the US that prohibit Federal immigration enforcement near schools, courthouses and hospitals. Our children already have drills in school. They do not need to be exposed to armed Immigration officers at school pickup time.
Forward Progress
Woodbury is one of the fastest growing cities in MN. This is because it is a great community. But to grow without losing its charm and essence is a challenge. Mog want to represent those who feel they haven't been heard. Mog want to build bridges instead of closing doors.
